Just want to record some recent events that matter to me. Event 1: Malaysians at Catz (26th October, 2022) Presented my research at 'Malaysians at Catz,' to celebrate Tunku Abdul Rahman's 100th anniversary of matriculation (he did his law degree in Catz in 1922). It was an honour to get to know other Tunku scholars in Catz, past and present. Here's the link to information about the event: Tunku 100 Event 2: GE15 (16th November, 2022) My first time as a postal voter! Truly a precious experience. Glad that I managed to do my part for the country, despite being thousands of kilometres away. Event 3: Visit from the Poet and UCL scholar (22nd November, 2022) My friend, Aziz, finally made it to the UK! He's starting his PhD in University College London. Always so proud of him! He came to visit me in Cambridge recently. So honoured to be able to hold his first book in my hands! That's it for now. Just so grateful to God for all His blessings. Soli Deo Gloria. ~ccj, Sherlock Library, St Catharine's College Cambridge, 1611

I submitted my first year report on the 28th November, 2022 (Monday) - a huge milestone! It was also a very important date, as it marked my 9th month of PhD, since I arrived in Cambridge on the 28th February 2022.
Well, what can I say? I survived! Praise be to God - all glory to Him! Soli Deo Gloria. ~ccj, Sherlock Library, St Catharine's College Cambridge, 1501 |
